What is the Title of this Topic?

This topic shall be used to play a strange sort of self-referential metagame that we shall make up as we go along. Currently, the rules are as follows:

THE RULES
1. The rules shall be defined as any sentence which begins with the words "the rules"
2. The rules shall be obeyed by all persons in every post from this point onwards.
3. The rules towards the beginning of this topic are superceded by the rules towards the end of the topic, so that any rule lower than another rule will take precedence over that rule.
4. The rules can be edited, amended or removed in any new post, so long as that post does not contradict earlier rules.
5. The rules defined in any given post do not apply to that post, but only to posts made after that post.
6. The rules are all subject to change except for this one, and any rule which attempts to circumvent this rule is against the rules.

I've started this game in three other forums so far, and it has been surprisingly successful in each. Now it is your turn.

errr...
7.The rules must always be

Um. Interesting start.
So, any rules that aren't break rule 7?

8. The rules must be written using over-the-top, excessively bureaucratic language that only serves to complicate, confuse, and hide the actual purpose of said rules, using as many pointless footnotes as possible.

:)

9. The rules, which as set forth in Rule 4, can be edited, amended or removed in any new post, so long as that post does not contradict earlier rules, shall be hereforth allowed to freely contradict, belie, buck, challenge, confront, contravene, controvert, counter, counteract, cross, disaffirm, disclaim, dispute, gainsay, impugn, negate, oppose, repudiate and/or traverse previous rules insomuch as the said rules contadict Rule 8 requiring over-the-top, excessively bureaucratic language that only serves to complicate, confuse, and hide the actual purpose of said rules, using as many pointless footnotes as possible.

Please note that no footnotes were possible for the abovementioned Rule, therefore zero is the equivalent of as many as possible.

10. The rules must be written, organized, and presented in such a manner as to be easily, straightforwardly, and effortlessly cross-referenced by the readers, writers, and followers of said rules. As such, whenever one of the as previously mentioned rules that has been laid down and/or enacted* prior to the sanction and authorization of the current rule is mentioned, cited, declared, adjusted, expounded upon, diminished, indicated of, stated, quoted, or otherwise brought up, it must needs be referenced in a manner that facillitates the comprehension and understanding of the academic and intelligent mind. Ergo, these quotations, excepts, and extractions shall be surrounded by the marks of quotation** that have become standard practice in the writing of the the English Language, and, additionally, primarily using the direct citation methods*** or indirect citation methods**** which have become the common standard and practice for all*****.

* The term "enacted" here being used to imply both the proposal and discusion of such a rule as well as the actual endorsement and ratification of said rule.
** "text or quotation of referenced item here"
***Example Given: In accordance with Rule #1 "The rules shall be defined as any sentence which begins with the words 'the rules'."
****Example Given: Therefore, as it has been stated that "The rules shall be defined as any sentence which begins with the words 'the rules'," (Rule #4)
***** "All" being defined as "the common populace of acadamia, namely the authors, readers, reviewers, commentors, members and all those who shall otherwise partake of such intelligent discussion."
