If you want to see a real pizza delivery driver, see the opening credits of "Taxi" - the original French version, not the crappy remake (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0152930/). Even if you can't find a subtitled version it's worth watching for the car chases.
For more delivery driver inspiration, I've been watching a few epsisodes of Initial D (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0385426/). This Japanese animated series follows a bored young tofu delivery driver who stumbles into the Japanese drift racing scene. It's a crack up. Like with a lot of anime, the subtitles for the dialogue are hilarious at times. Example: "It's like shit, and chocolate: they look the same, but they're not!". The theme tune, "Rage Your Dream", combines Japanese and mangled English in amusing ways. A must see.
